Staff and Leadership
The Rev. Michael Tassler is the pastor of Grace, and Director of the Rocky Mountain Synod's Educate, Equip, Enact (3E Lily Grant). He received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio and a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Pastor Michael began his ordained ministry in Ohio and has additionally served Lutheran churches in the metro Washington DC area and New Mexico. Previous professional pursuits have included time as the Production Manager for the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra and as a Financial Representative with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
In addition to serving as pastor to the Grace community, Pastor Michael enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his wife and 3 kids. An avid Chicago Cubs fan, he also enjoys coaching youth sports, playing golf and an assortment of musical instruments.
Ron grew up in the Pocono Mountains area of northeastern Pennsylvania, and moved on to spend many years in New York City until he came to the lovely Rocky Mountains and moved to Colorado in 2006.
Ron love all genres of sacred music and works to incorporate it into our worship.
Our choir rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm during the school year. All are welcome to participate in the choir. There’s no age limit and you don’t need to read music to sing. So come on out and make a joyful noise to the Lord!

Karleen Cotton is active in many ministries at Grace. Karleen does the million-and-one things needed to keep Grace up and running smoothly. She has a caring heart and kind ear, and will likely be one of the first voices you hear when you contact Grace.
Karleen and her extended family reside in Colorado Springs.
