Mission
The function of the Hymn Pickin’ Team is to choose hymns appropriate for the Sunday service. At its monthly meeting, the team studies the texts to discover their themes. Hymns are then chose for melody, familiarity, and frequency of use. The team maintains a record of each hymn that has been used since the formation of Grace. This information is always checked before a selection is made to avoid using only a narrow range of familiar songs.
