Notice from the Church Council
March 14, 2020
Dear Members and Friends of Grace Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs,
At Grace, we care about your physical health as well as your spiritual health. The safety and well-being of our members, visitors, and partners are of the utmost importance to us. In view of public concern about the current pandemic, and pursuant to the urging of our Rocky Mountain Synod Bishop, Jim Gonia, we are immediately suspending public worship, gathering, events and meetings.
Church Council will be working on next steps that include looking into ways to offer worship through electronic means. Please watch for further information and instructions. We will also be posting updates to our Facebook page, website and by mail and email.
Expenses do not close. Please consider making your regular offering or special donations using our on-line service at tithely.com or by mail.
Please pray for good health and healing for people here and throughout the world.
And, remember to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water—OFTEN. This simple action has great impact! Most contagions are transmitted through physical contact with our hands, so a little extra soap and water can make a great deal of difference.
If you have concerns, questions, or suggestions, please contact a member of Church Council, Pastor Gene, or the church office.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience at this time. God bless and keep you.
Church Council, Grace Lutheran Church of Colorado Springs
