Grace Lutheran’s monthly Movie Night for March will be hosted by the Reconciling in Christ Core team as part of our ongoing conversation on LGBTQ+ issues in the church. The team will be showing Prayers for Bobby, an adaptation of a true story about devout Christian Mary Griffith (Sigourney Weaver) as she fights to come to terms with her gay son, Bobby (Ryan Kelley). It’s a compelling and moving story about personal convictions and the transformative power of love.
By showing this movie, the Core Team hopes to foster discussion on the importance of the Reconciling in Christ process to marginalized communities. We invite everyone to come out and participate in this community process of conversation and discernment as a church!
